The Penny Parks Charitable Trust

The Penny Parks Charitable Trust supports disadvantaged children and their families both here and overseas and particularly offers support in times of trauma and crisis. The Charity was formally started over 20 years ago and has been providing support for children in the Purley area including Dance School Scholarships and Fees to attend classes. The Charity also supports children in India, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Income to the Charity

Income to the Charity comes from the Workshops held two or three times a year, individual donations and special fundraising events such as the Charity Ball.

  • All income from ticket sales, raffles, barbecue, drink and sweet sales, DVDs at Summer Theatre Workshop
  • Raffles held at Christmas, Easter and Summer School

The Charity's main fund raising in this year was to support the Royal Marsden Hospital in providing equipment to give chemotherapy to children - we did this in memory of Nicole Favre who attended the Ballet School and who died of leukaemia.
